Savory Oats Recipe

Have you ever tried savory oats? Since oats take on the flavor of anything you cook them with or top them with, they make for a tasty savory or sweet meal.

Not only is this a wholesome vegetarian dish but it's gluten free too! I eat this for lunch or dinner and it's one of my favorite comfort foods.

This is definitely not one of those dishes that you should make for a party but rather, a dish to make a part of  your repertoire of healthy, simple and quick recipes.  The kind of dish you want to eat curled up on the sofa after a long day ðŸ˜‰

Tips and Bits

Sauté onions slowly until caramelized and brown or they will burn and your dish will taste bitter. You can grind the brown onions if you like.

This tastes good sprinkled with chaat masala.
