Baked Ziti Recipe
This cheesy, saucey, meaty dish is basically deconstructed lasagna but easier to put together. A bowl full of baked ziti is complete comfort food.
I used to make this pasta dish for my kids when they were growing up but it was only when Nursel said "Mama you need more casseroles on the blog" that I remembered one of our old time favorites.
If you want to make this a vegetarian version just leave out the ground beef and feel free to add more cheeses into the mix for richer, cheesier ziti.
This is a tasty baked dish to make for a crowd or for a couple of people to enjoy leftovers for a few meals. It stores in the fridge for several days and reheats perfectly.
